Samuel was born in Turin on March 7, 1972. He started singing and playing instruments when he was in primary school, and he’s been very active as a composer since then. 
His music production includes fourteen studio album with 2 different bands – Subsonica and Motel Connection – and 2 soundtracks for Marco Penti’s movies “Santa Maradona” and “A+R Andata e Ritorno”.

In the late 1980s Samuel decided to mix together his natural talent for writing songs with a strong passion for electro music: that’s how Subsonica band came to life.
It was in these years of great turmoil in the Italian music scene that Samuel and his band mates embarked on a research journey through electro music and culture, which ended up with him starting a new music project called Motel Connection. With this band Samule made six studio albums and two movie soundtracks.

During his music career Samuel had the chance to collaborate with great artists as Franco Battiato, Antonella Ruggero, Patty Pravo and Manuel Agnelli.

In 2014 he aimed to write his first solo album. “Il codice della bellezza” was released on the 24th of February 2017, coming up right after Samuel participation in Festival di Sanremo competition with “Vedrai” song. 

Samuel new album sees him collaborating with Lorenzo Jovanotti Cherubini, who helped co-writing a few songs and singing “Voleva un’anima” tune.

“Il codice della bellezza” ranks second in FIMI best-selling chart right after being released and it goes straight to the top of airplay chart in Italy.

The first single off the album,”La risposta”, it’s released on the 10th of September 2016 and it ranks first on the airplay list in Italy right away. “Rabbia” is the second tune off the album and it’s currently broadcasted on the top radio stations in Italy.
