Muchachito is Jairo Perera Viedma, born in Santa Coloma de Gramenet in 1975.

In 2003 he started to play with a quartet, with el Lere at the bass, Héctor Bellino at half drums and Josué Ciclón García at the trumpet. Incidentally, in a jam session ¡nine hours long! met Tito Carlos and his white and black keyboard, the only musician with Jairo who held on stage all the session. The alliance of Tito and Josué, jazz and studio musicians, along with el Lere, Héctor Bellino and Jairo, street musicians, run perfectly and all of them cheered up him to form a band anew.

April 2004 was a turning point, with a crowded Sala Apolo withn a keen and devoted audience. In the beginning of 2005 Vamos que nos Vamos was published, an album that surprises both media as to audience.

Every concert made his fame increase, along with his band. Live at stage appeared Gigoleto Brass band in full. Josué Ciclón García, Trumpet, conductor, David el Niño, tenor sax, Martín García, highpitch sax, Oscar Bas, trombon and Alberto Pérez, trumpet, all of them reinforced like no one the swing. Jairo calls up also his friend from childhood and youth, Santos de Veracruz, who was already working in the concert posters design and the record graphic art, and asked him to make a painting while performing. This macrofamily goes together throughout Spain for two years and the success allows them shift to self management. The fruit of this rovering and playing, meeting and connecting with kindred souls bloomed, and deep friendship was only one step ahead. Muchachito Bombo Infierno, Los Delinqüentes, Kiko Veneno andTomasito met up on stage and with it the crazy idea of doing something all together. In june and July 2006 they met up many times (partying) in Jerez de la Frontera and almost spontaneously aroused the legenday recording G5 Tucaratupapi. In 2007 his own label was created and Visto lo Visto was released, the second part of a four records trilogy. Just when the sessions with their 13 songs were done, Jairo went to suffer a throat operation. Bad times for somebody who is not at ease quiet and with his mouth shut up. But good sense got back and when his suffering voice took his place frenzy concerts got back too.

It took only some years Muchachito for shifting from playing in bars to building up a structure formed by twentysomething people, counting musicians, managing and technicians. Total independence and self management, though much more work.

In 2009 the band was sent in holiday and he allowed himself a sabbatical year (theorically). Just stopping by, took a pallet turning it into an instrument, percussion under his feet, and started up a short one man show tour, “longing for feeling audience closer”. Essential for nurturing. 2010 was the year when Muchachito produced himself his third record, Idas y Vueltas. A stillness made work where the first record freshness reappeared, with instantly composed themes who rapidly become classical. The recording was made in his own studio La Cueva, Barcelona y and La Bodega studio, Jerez de la Frontera, mixed by Joe Dworniak in Britain. A change was made in the band: Manel, ex Trimelón, replaced Héctor Bellino. Again the sold out notice was hanged at the door of Razzmatazz hall in the premiere concert of the new record. The day before, more of thousend friends were invited to a rehearsal concert with a three hour session in full performance.

Muchachito Bombo Infierno started up a tour for 50 towns in Spain, mostly with sold out tickets. But Jairo is suffering of creative incontinence and found a new performing format Sólo Muchachito, one man band, playing guitar, bass drum, drum and 101 gadgets and devices, with his wholehearted mate Santos de Veracruz, the paintbrush musician, conttibuting with draws and painting and singing also in some song. The show went across the ocean and staged in Argentina in November 2010, enjoying a three hours concert at the Niceto Club in Buenos Aires.
